Pouring Helplessness ..

Ya...Its pouring as tears...pouring as swears ...pouring as out as unreconstructed statements and a few extremist adjectives that we know....pouring out as questions to the authorities in concern ...
What are the politicians doing?
Why was the aircraft not ready for the NSG ?
Why are we not having the cctv cameras being monitored 24 * 7 ?
....Some questions answered and some still floating uncomfortably...adding to the malaise and helplessness lurking around the directly unaffected citizens of mumbai.
Some questions that always existed but were buried to let our politicians enjoy the time of their life are now coming out after we paid a price not affordable.
Tears, anguish and anger all felt and embedded in our hearts for once. The need for act was never felt more than this before.

Terrorism has given a lot of lessons, cautions and for the first time awaken the dead patriotism in me. Dead because of the self centered pot-bellied numb zombie politicians who are the second worst creations under the human category after the terrorists. This time they have killed people in the open and nothing could be done because lives were lost within minutes and all we could come out with is the count of the dead bodies and pictures. I agree it was a sudden attack but tell me when do we have a known terrorist plan that needs to be stopped? When does crime occur after intimation?

One more question...
Whom do the politicians require protection from? Dont they have enough of their foot-licking followers to save them or are they similar cowards as their idol? The need is seen to divert this investment to the people than to the useless governors.

Now I wonder....did we ever need the freedom we won years back ? coz we have not taken care of ourselves enough to save our citizens lives. We did need the freedom from slavery but not from the discipline and the basic care that the strangers provided.Well ya ..this is an extremists thought but I dont wish to stop this feeling as this keeps the passion and sanity alive in me.

The hatred nurtured has overgrown the love that we all try to keep alive. No proof no alert...just a gory attack and bloodshed...all repeated . History repeated itself in the past 60 hours ...like JW Mariott , jalianwala bagh ...hijacking ...which has already happened and taken enough lives . Yet we were not prepared. The cctv cameras, the men dressed as policemen , the security checks .....now seem as faked to give a false sense of security to the citiznes.

Another heart wrenching statement that comes from a politician who says that such incidents keep happening....was the worst that one could have said to console the kin of the brave hearts and the innocents who lost their lives in such a ghastly manner.

Such insensitivity can still be painfully felt even around us but what is important (i feel) is enough actions to ensure that hatred is killed at birth. Innocents' lives are valued no matter they die at Taj or in a bus explosion. Every aspect is taken as seriously as a landmine, right from passport checking, every entry point inspected(land,water and air). The hibernating terrorists and criminals in jails, the pk telephonic connections from india and viceversa.

And the unstated cause-corruption....should be treated equal to terrorism coz in the end this is what corruption could lead to.

I dont know how to put the helplessness I feel to rest but here is one message that probably could be put to use if ever read by the right people.
I am sure every body is ready to let go off their need for privacy to breathe a few more seconds of our life.

And lastly,I salute the braveheart soldiers who lost and also who risked their lives for our people, the Taj staff who acted as human sheilds to save their people.
