Angelic...adorable..

Those are the adjectives that pop up in my mind every time I think of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa host Afsha. This six year old kid with tiny red spectacles sitting on her nose, donned with a little frock drives a show! And no, there is no sign of the prompter helping her in her talks. And believe me its done in complete extemporaneous manner.

Well the show is about a competition of kids with nearly single-digit ages . And each gem picked up by renowned singers.But the major attraction no matter what is the show host. Whenever she speaks my heart leaps to catch hold of her and leave a tightly held on her cheek.

She came in the lime light only by chance during the auditions.She was five then. A renowned singer and judge Alka Yagnik asked this child prodigy a couple of questions and got a prompt and adorable replies. Observing these precocious impulses Alka asked Afsha's mom "What did you consume when she was in yet to be born that has given rise to this gem?". And Afsha answered for her mom saying she had had a "Vada Pav". That's it. This question has been asked to her so many times since then in the show that her birthday was celebrated with a cake in the shape of Vada Pav.:D Each one on the show is so moved by this little star that her cheek was full of lipstick marks at the end of her birthday celebration.The show is adjusted with another little boy host to accommodate this young smarty.
A treat to the eyes after a long day's work. :) Love you Afsha!
