Growing up

This is the second article from a scratch paper I had scribbled on while travelling a year back when philosophy became the medium to express. It stemmed from a discussion with a friend about life in general..

Never knew what the phrases "Growing up" or "I have seen the world" actually meant until...
- I met some unreasonably selfish people and you have to put up with them and being cautious of how sweet they might get to hide it.
- When you wake up far far away from your family with nobody who selflessly cares for you and yet you manage to be at peace.
- When you have to stop expecting anything from anybody as a measure to stop hurting.
- When sometimes you land up in situations where the word "hope" seems empty and you cant call family for help and All you know and do is hang in there until the phase passes by.
- When you see people around falling apart and you have to pick them up.
- When suddenly the only happy people are kids.
- When you hardly ask anything from anyone but when you do once, and you dont get it.

That's probably when adults say..."The outside world is harsh and I have seen it" and then you realize its time to stop thinking so much and live happily :P

Avalanche of memories...

As time passes by, everyone sees unexpected Happy times and unwanted Sad times. And everyone wants to forget the latter no matter how valuable a lesson it has taught. In order to do so they try everything from getting busy to facing and crying it off. But still, like the adamant stains, they leave some residue. A slight trigger and one is rushed down the memory hill by an avalanche of memories.
In such times its highly desired that our near and dear one s don't provide the trigger to such a fallback. Its not easy to face things again and again when they have been put behind the curtains of time.
I sincerely wish if adult life were as simple as kids'. Just say things you feel, just clear things that hurt, just forget and start over anytime, or even...just forgive and never rethink the act. Actually speaking, no one stops us from being so free. Its only the chains of mind that keeps you from doing anything that others don't.
Easier said than done but once done, it feels easier than it were when said. :)

I don't know if my readers are with me coz I recently got a complaint that my blogs are abstract but I couldn't have elaborated on the description of avalanche in this one you know...
So here's it, a challenge for me and a story for you! :D

Creating a Horcrux...some fun-dae(theory) :)

Let start with what is a horcrux : A Horcrux is a fictional magical object in the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. It is a Dark Magic device created to attain immortality. as defined in Wiki. That brings with it the next question...how would you define immortality ? Wiki says "Immortality (or eternal life) is the concept of living in a physical or spiritual form for an infinite or inconceivably vast length of time". So I presume vast length of time means beyond the time of physical being.

With this definition of horcrux, I say we can create our horcruxes in real life. You ask me how.This is how you create your horcrux.

There are two necessary and sufficient conditions that MUST be fulfilled to create a horcrux.
Condition 1: You must love somebody.
Condition 2: And that somebody must love you.

And by love I mean the acceptance of another being in whole.
The outcome of this is that, you tend to create a better half of yourself in the other person and the other person tends to accept that part of you in himself. Thus creating a piece of you in him. So when you die that piece doesn't die but remains immortally in the other being of-course until that being survives.

If you wish to immortalize yourself in a non-living object then this is limited objects that can hold your details like a diary etc. but this will only hold your properties but not the real you.

There are limitations when functions like CreateHorcrux are imported from Fantasy class to Real class...Oh I mean world :D.
So if you wish to create a horcrux...find your mate today and immortalize yourself! :D Howzzat! ?

Life

Among one of our life-discussions with my friends this quote came up : " If every one is Happy with you it means you have made a lot of compromises."

At that moment I felt it to be very true. And at that moment I thought I must have made a lot of compromises all along coz then,every one seems to be happy with me.

I must have looked overlooked a few of my compromises as well, so I started analysing my relations.

To my surprise I did not any instance where I had compromised. Infact IO felt I was happy doing what could possibly be called a compromise. SO should I call them compromise....? I decide not to. Just like studies become hard when people ask us to work hard ; my choices could seem unnecessary when called compromises.

It simply means, choices are made to be called destiny.Infact its a choice you do so or no. I read somewhere taht vivekananda says, Man is a creature tied to a tree and only when he takes the spiritiual path does the rope extend...May be that was his choice and thats what their followers choose to believe...But I feel life is that horse which goes as you take it if you drive it else it goes on ..on its own adn we can call it destiny...
The debate will go on..if its choice or if its destiny that drives one...but I like to believe its choice and (like mask says) no one can stop me. :)
